The Municipality of Kitaotao takes pride in a vibrant calendar of celebrations that reflect the soul of the community. From cultural showcases to civic commemorations, each event is a lively expression of the town’s unity, heritage, and joyful spirit.
All barangays across Kitaotao come together to participate in these much-anticipated festivities. Whether it’s the grand Araw ng Kitaotao on June 18 or the heartfelt Sr. San Vicente Ferrer Festival every November 24, these occasions bring color, excitement, and deep cultural meaning to our town.
Our calendar also honors diversity and identity with celebrations like the Alrew Te Matigsalug on July 16—an event that highlights the traditions of our Indigenous brothers and sisters. We also dedicate special months to recognize sectors that shape our community, such as Women's Month in March and Farmers’ Month in May.
The spirit of togetherness shines even brighter during Linggo ng Kabataan (June 12–17), where the youth of Kitaotao take center stage in various fun and inspiring activities. Each celebration is not just an event—it’s an invitation to experience the heart of Kitaotao and witness a community that celebrates as one.
