These lesser-known attractions offer a serene escape for travelers seeking to connect with nature in its purest form.

Mahatungal Falls

Nestled in Sitio Maru, barangay Sinuda, Maru Falls is a captivating natural gift in Kitaotao. This picturesque waterfall offers a perfect blend of adventure and serenity, attracting visitors with opportunities for trekking, camping, and swimming.

Tinago Falls

Tinago Falls is a natural wonder located in barangay Kahusayan, Kitaotao, Bukidnon, known for its cascading waterfalls and pristine surroundings. Beyond its natural beauty, the site holds deep cultural significance for the local community. According to local folklore, the first three waterfalls were named as “Naluhalan" due to a tale of a serpent with ten heads swept away during a severe flood. The second waterfall, "Natakboan," earned its name after a sword fell into its depths, disappearing without a trace. The third, "Natungoan," got its name from the story of a child who accidentally fell headfirst. What adds to the uniqueness of Tinago Falls is its distinctive feature of producing hot water.

Kipilas Falls

Kipilas Falls offers a serene escape into nature. With its pristine beauty, lush surroundings, and potential for diverse activities, it stands as a promising destination for tourism development. The waterfall is 150 ft. of cascading water. It is estimated to be a 15-kilometre motorcycle ride of 20 minutes from the national highway Buda to Kipilas proper to the falls.

Quarry Cave

Located at Purok 9, Poblacion which is 2 kilometers from the National Highway and just few minutes' ride from Kitaotao urban center remains to welcome every spelunker to its unspoiled stalagmite and stalactite formed over a million years and the unbelievable species of fish thriving in its ice-cold water streams. The mode of public transportation is through four-wheeled vehicles and single motorcycles. Though the cave is not yet developed, it is visited by several tourists from various places.

Basak Cave

It is about 4.75 kilometres from the Secondary National Highway of Sitio Basak, Sinuda, and can be reached only by a single motorcycle.

This is adorned with formations produced through many years making it unique in its characteristics.

Veto Cave

Sitio Veto San Isidro, 3.16 kilometers from the National Highway of Poblacion, Kitaotao. It can be reached with a four wheeled vehicle from national highway to Sitio Manimayag and a few minutes’ walk from Manimayag to Veto Cave.

Veto cave has underground water that is being used for drinking by nearby residents.
